TED events offer numerous interesting talks about future technological trends, world issues, and a variety of other topics of interest. TED videos are spread around on YouTube and numerous other websites but if you are looking for an easy way to download these videos, then you should check out an app called TEDinator.
TEDinator, or simply “TED Downloader,” is a freeware desktop application that lets you download TED videos. The app is size under 1 MB; it quickly downloads and installs. The application populates TED videos and presents them in an organized manner.
For each video, you are shown the video title, the event where the video was recorded, the date of the event, and also the duration of the video. You can search for videos by name and download all or only a selection of the videos in the list that is populated. Subtitles for the videos can also be downloaded. The download progress is indicated by a progress bar present in the bottom of the program.
In addition to downloading the videos, you can also copy and save their direct URLs in order to bookmarks the videos or share them with your friends. TEDinator provides a built-in option for this through which you can import the URLs of the checked videos to a text file, an HTML file, or an XML file.
Before you begin with any download, make sure to access the app’s options first. You will be able to set the video quality as Low, Regular, or Medium. You can also set a proxy, the default language for subtitles, and the default downloading folder for the videos.
