When you have a regular alarm clock, your violently abuse it while trying to turn it off. For instance, while fumbling for the alarm clock in the dark when you are sleepy, your hand hits the clock and it falls to the floor; in some cases, it even breaks.

The same fate is shared by your cellphone when you use it as an alarm clock. This can be a big problem when your cellphone is an expensive one and you cannot afford its fall to the floor. Here to help protect your smartphone from alarm clock damage is a tool called Snooze.
Snooze is a casing for your smartphone that you can put on your bedside table. The casing protects your phone from accidental falls when you are trying to turn off the alarm on it in the dark; it gives you a button on top that you can tap to put your phone’s alarm clock into snooze. The casing can also be used as a docking station for your phone so you can charge it.
Currently Snooze is being designed only for iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. The device will enter production once it gets the required number of pledges. A 40$ pledge will get you a wooden Snooze, a $55 pledge will get you a wooden snooze along with a red charging cable, and a $99 pledge will get you a stylish aluminum Snooze.
