`iOS device owners will be happy to learn that they can now get a portable charger for iPhone and other devices, thanks to something called “POP.”
Smartphone users can tell that running out of battery while one is out is quite frustrating. You can miss important calls and notifications which can resultantly be very problematic.
Here to help you out when your iPhone or other portable device runs out of battery is a device called POP.
POP stands for POrtable Power. The device is an elegant portable battery charging solution for handheld devices. As you can see in the image above, the device has cords coming out from each one its four directions. From these directions, there are cords coming out that charge your Apple devices. The cord heads can be bent to facilitate the charging of micro USB devices – this includes numerous phones and digital cameras. For direct USB charging, the device offers 2 USB outlets beneath it.
The device can be charged using its 100 / 240 Volt AC adapter port. The device includes a 25,000 mAh battery that is capable of charging as many as 10 iPhones in one go. POP’s competition devices do not offer such a massive battery and cost a lot more than what POP will be available for.
The device has got a lot of future concepts going on as well such as having a speaker at the top head of the device.
POP currently is looking for funding and pledges over at KickStarter.
You can confirm getting your hands on a POP device by pledging $150. For a $170 pledge you can get a POP device with your name or company logo on the device.
A $1,000 pledge can get you a super POP that can simultaneously charge as many as 18 phones.
