Online radio stations offer you a wide variety of music to stream. Usually the stations play the best popular music currently out there and keep you entertained. But in order to stream music off an online radio station, you have to visit its website and then keep a browser tab open through which the station’s music is being streamed.
Furthermore, if you need to download the music you like then you need to have a special application installed to do just that.
These complications involved with online radio stations can all be solved through a single desktop application called RadioZilla.
RadioZilla is a free to use desktop application for Windows computers and Mac computers. The Windows version is sized at nearly 3.5 MB and the Mac version is sized at nearly 7 MB. This app lets you stream countless online radio stations and record the tracks being played.
When you run the application, you find a list of radio stations in the left pane. You start by picking out your genre of music. Corresponding radio stations are loaded in the bottom left pane. You select a radio station and a connection is made to its feed. Names of the tracks being played are shown in the right pane. The app tries to fetch additional information for the track such as cover art and other details.
You can record the tracks being streamed using the top buttons. You can also select the Auto Record option that automatically records every track being streamed and saves it in a MP3 file. The saving folder can be changed in the app’s options.
This nifty little application will be a wonderful treat for people who listen to online radio.
