Tethered Jailbreak Now Available for iOS 6 Beta 3

For those who do not know the difference between tethered and untethered: a tethered jailbreak is when you need your phone hooked up with your computer to reboot it whereas no computer connection is required with an untethered jailbreak.

Needless to say, people prefer an untethered jailbreak over a tethered one. But this tethered jailbreak for iOS 6 Beta 3 will be worth checking out, especially if you are a developer. You could see how it works and perhaps get inspirations for your own jailbreaking tools.

The jailbreak is, however, quite limited. For example, Cydia will not be installed at the time of the jailbreak. Still, this is good news for everybody because the jailbreakers seem to be quite close to the release of OS. In other words, when the final version of iOS 6 is released, a jailbreak for it will not be very far away.
